Throughout our arrival back from our spring break hiatus, the zombie apocalypse has come to MHS. Dr. Andrews, along with her Library Advisory Board, has created a tournament with teachers’ credentials on who is the best candidate to accompany you if a zombie outbreak were to occur. This was inspired by a question that accidentally made the morning announcements. Andrews started this project because she  “wanted to meet the silly energy of the students that are on the library advisory board. They were really into this idea of doing something fun and special during the doldrums of winter third-quarter.”

Filling out the brackets has been a hit! Throughout the week, students have made their bracket to guess who they think will take the dub. There are many common themes; many individuals have Mr. Moore as their overall winner or Mr. Holt and Mrs. Camacho in their final two. Dr. Andrews said, “I actually filled out my own bracket and my final matchup is Mrs. Camacho against Mrs. Rost, and I have Mrs. Rost going all the way. I am very intrigued to see how this will pan out.” However, freshman Addie Johns stated, “I think that Mr. Holt will win the bracket because everyone likes him and has been putting him as the winner in their brackets.”  So many people have different opinions and bracket varieties. It is going to be super intriguing to see who the MHS student body will select.
