Fall fashion at MHS

Freshman Evelyn Shore showed off her fall fashion by wearing a comfy sweater

Fall officially started on September 22nd, and with this, more students started embracing their fall fashion. This consisted of things like off-the-shoulder sweaters, leggings, and uggs. While these articles of clothing have been common among past years, the color brown seems to be a new trending color.

Many students prefer fall clothing to what they wear at other times of the year. Junior Madeleine Saiger exclaimed, “I love fall fashion because it makes me feel so much more cozy!”

Similarly, junior Khloe Kresin felt joy as the season switched. She said, “I prefer fall because I can bring out my sweaters and watch the leaves turn.”

However, other people have shared that they feel differently about the season. Junior Vivian Pyle said, “Although I do love fall because I can bring out my sweatshirts, I miss wearing shorts and the bright colors that I wear in the summer.”

Senior Lydia McFalls noted similar thoughts to Saiger. She shared, “I love wearing the color brown, and I especially love my uggs. It gives me such a comfy feeling.”

Overall, fall has proven to be a positive time for Monticello High School students, bringing out a new fashion style, consisting of comfortable layers and warm tones.
