As excitement builds for this year’s Post Prom, the decision to hold it at PreGame Sports Complex has stirred up a range of reactions among students.
“I’m going to be on that dance floor, and I already know my calves are going to be hurting,” said Danielle Dasher with a laugh. “How can I jump if my legs are hurting? Plus, I might hurt my nose.” Despite her concerns, she seems ready to bring the energy.
Others are feeling a bit more apprehensive. “I’m nervous because I’m out in the open and I don’t have a place to hide,” shared Catie, expressing a sense of vulnerability about the new setup.
Maya Cremeens was more direct in her thoughts. “I don’t want to go to the Clean Movement,” she said, referring to the event organizers.
Still, when it comes to what they’re hoping for at the event, some common ground emerges. Danielle is especially excited to see Xander and his band perform. “Me too,” added Catie, “and food.” Maya echoed the sentiment with a simple but clear priority: “Food.”
Whether with high-energy dancing or just some good eats, students are gearing up for a memorable night—aches, nerves, and all.
