The MHS baseball team is off to a good start this season, with a 6-2 record.
The boys are excited about playing this year. “The feeling of hitting a baseball hard is the best thing. Senior centerfielder Carter Foran said, “I’m just excited to be playing with my friends for one last year and playing the sport that I love.”
Senior left fielder Brian Wiltgen shared similar thoughts, ”I want to make one last good ride with my friends.”
Success is not the only thing that makes playing baseball fun. It’s also the memories you make along the way. “My favorite memory was walking it off against Warrensburg Latham to send us to the regional championship,” said senior Foran.
Some people have similar goals as well. “I want to make it all the way this year and win a state championship,” said senior Wiltgen. “My goal this year is to have a great last season with my friends, and a successful one,” shared Foran.
Setting goals for this year, and also being excited to play, will not only help them have a successful season, but also help them make memories along the way.”
