The senior class of 2025 gathered together in the junior/senior parking lot the evening of August 15 to paint car windows, and enjoy their last night of summer together, all the while celebrating the start of a new school year.

Senior, Vanya Zuniga stated, “I loved senior car painting night so much! I think it brought us together as the class of 2025, and it really showed how great of a year it’s going to be.” The night was filled with upbeat music, picture taking, and reminiscing on past memories.

This was the first time the event had been hosted at MHS. Zuniga exclaimed, “I definitely think this should become a tradition. The night before school is always so exciting and this elevated it so much more. It allowed you to see your friends and bond together while reminiscing over the past three years of high school.”

Many efforts were combined in completing drawings referencing the classic early 2000s movie, Mean Girls, and Spongebob Squarepants quotes such as, “Four years later…” Senior Bella Dulap mentioned,” It’s great to see everyone bonding and helping each other out and having fun.”

Dunlap stated her favorite part of the night was “seeing everyone after a summer of being a part and all the unique designs people came up with.”

The night ended with dwindling sounds of laughter as everyone packed up and headed for home. It was a hopeful start to the school year and Zuniga stated, “I’m looking forward to all the nights of FNL and just seeing our class experience all of our lasts together as high schoolers!”
