With one week until spring break, kids are feeling stressed with all the homework and tests due before the quarter ends. Teachers are trying to wrap up their final units before the week ends.
“I am very stressed over tests getting squeezed in and the amount of homework that is being assigned,” said sophomore Mylin Bruhn.
Spring break also means the end of third quarter, which means third quarter grades are finalized soon. “I am stressing about grades since report cards are coming out soon,”said sophomore Lauren Albrecht.
Diffferents students have different approaches to handling the stress that comes with the end of a quarter and all of the approaching exams.
“I handle the stress by trying to make sure I get good assignments this week, so it doesn’t drop my grade before the quarter ends,” said Albrecht.
“I like to write out all the things that I need to do in an agenda and cross them off when I complete them. I also try to get done as much work as I can in class as well,” shared Bruhn.
Most students have their eyes set on spring break so they can relax and take a break from all the stress of the school work. Many students are going on vacation as a way to let off steam.
“I am looking forward to going to Florida and spending quality time with my family. I am also looking forward to a break from school and not having any homework or notes to take,” said Bruhn.
“I am looking forward to being in Florida over spring break with my family and hanging out with my friends when I get back,” shared Albrecht.
