Sages baseball beginning

With the 2024 Sages baseball season approaching, there are many expectations for the season considering how it ended last year.

Junior third baseman Colton Vance gave his input on how he thinks the year will go. “I feel that this baseball season will go really well. We have a lot of younger guys coming back from last year that I feel will step up and fill some roles. If we play well as a team, I think we can go far this year,” said Vance.

The loss in the regional championship last year was devastating for all of the players. Vance said, “It definitely was unexpected. All of the seniors put in so much work to put us in that position, and it really sucks that we came out with the loss.”

While the Sages baseball team hopes to have a successful season, the boys also look forward to hanging out with each other during practices and games.

Junior Carter Foran also talked about what his favorite part of the baseball season is. “My favorite part of baseball is the environment. All the senses all go together that just make the game so enjoyable. I also love being with my buddies while playing the sport I love,” shared Foran.

Hopefully the Sages can come out like hot fire this baseball season.
