Volleyball

Sages Volleyball went 3-0 last week with a non-conference win over Sullivan (21-25, 25-14, 25-10), and two conference wins over PBL (25-22, 26-28, 25-18) and St. Thomas More (25-19, 19-25, 25-23). Volleyball improves to 13-4 and 2nd in conference. This week’s games are vs. Arthur at home on 9/25, Unity at home on 9/26, and Pontiac at home on 9/28. 

Boys Soccer

Sages Soccer started the week with tough losses vs. Bloomington Central Catholic 10-2 and Central 10-2 before rounding the week off with a win away at Bismark-Henning/Rossville-Alvin 7-0. This week’s games are vs. St Thomas More away 9/26, Pleasant Plains away 9/28, and IVC at home 9/30.  

Girls Golf

Girls Golf traveled to the Illini Prairie Conference Tournament last week, where the team placed 5th, and Megan Allen placed 10th individual. Golf wrapped up the week at the John Macek Tournament, where the team shot a season-low 399, Addison Finet placed 6th, and Megan Allen placed 10th individual. This week’s matches are vs. Pontiac at home on 9/25 and IHSA Regionals at Harrison Park Golf Course on 9/28.

Boys Golf

Boys Golf traveled to the Illini Prairie Conference Tournament last week, where the team placed 2nd, Maddux Quick placed 4th, and Connor Kuntz placed 5th individual. This week’s matches are Senior Night vs. LeRoy/GCMS at home on 9/25 and IHSA Regionals at the University of Illinois Golf Course on 9/27.

Cross Country

Sages Cross Country traveled to the St. Joseph-Ogden Spartan Classic last week. The boys placed 10th overall, and the girls placed 15th overall. This week Cross Country has a home meet at Lodge Park vs. multiple opponents on 9/28.

Football

Sages Football traveled to Pontiac Friday and came home with a convincing 40-8 win. This win brings Football to 3-2 and back above .500. Football returns home this week for the homecoming football game vs. Rantoul on 9/29, with kickoff at 7:00 p.m.
