Seniors Break Losing Streak

Homecoming week 2022, the seniors won the powderpuff games on a rainy Thursday night.

All of the players got an hour to warm up before the game which gave them a good opportunity to learn the game before it went live. The seniors finally got a chance to play in the championship game against the juniors after not making it to the championship games for the past 2 years. Senior Lauren Dunnet stated ¨”The team of ladies were amazing, they are all great people. I think we had some amazing energy out there on the field. We all worked very well together.¨”

As the games went on the energy of the seniors had increased, and the juniors got more aggressive on the field. Dunnet said ¨”My glasses fell down onto that field, and when they fell down the tragedy struck the worst possible thing that you could think of. They snap.¨” Lucky all of the girls on both teams started to help and they found both pieces of her glasses.

Dunnet said “I think this is very memorable because I just put my all out there and you know what happens, a little glasses break and that can be fixed, but you know what can’t be fixed, a loss.¨” That is the head space that ultimately won the seniors the game.
